Strategy: redoing completely, as qwerty has missed the ball again. This tower whiffs black/white bloons even in ideal spots and high MK, because it's a damage over time effect not buffed by speed. Plus like the upgrade before it, it has very few spots to place.

Similar to its previous upgrade, the Bloontonium Reactor struggles to find a proper placement on many tracks due to lack of water placement. Plus, the addition of the damage over time effect does very little to improve the consistency of the decamo, and often doesn't fully pop Bloons stronger than a Pink Bloon. As a result, this upgrade is extremely hard to justify using outside of Contested Territory.
When placed such that its range covers a wide bend, Bloontonium Reactor's infinite pierce in addition to relatively fast speed and Camo removal lets it deal with any Rainbow and below, but struggles against Ceramics without support. Monkey Knowledge Ranks 4, 9, and 14 are recommended to improve its consistency on its less favorable areas. The stackable water-based ability cooldown reductions can be beneficial on First Strike Capability, but due to the limited amount of Subs for a city, as well as limited space on some maps, only a few submerged Bloontonium Reactors should be placed around them.

Due to the ability cooldown stacking bug, it can be used in CT on maps with a lot of water to reduce the cooldown of some First Strike Capability subs to almost nothing, and deliver its massive damage missile multiple times per turn.
