Ring Of Fire (BMC): Difference between revisions

Many team members in Monkey Teams are just better. We had Ninja Engi Tack recently but if it ends up on river terrain you're gonna be forced to use this guy. Mib is expensive. Okay, at least reactor has inf pierce to handle insides of blimp insides masses |

On the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City, due to the damage not passing through layers and the much slower attack speed, plus higher cost, this tower is simply not viable for cleanup. It is only able to chip up to about 5 times before Bloons leave its range, and its limited pierce prevents it from wiping out masses of blimp insides. It is also too expensive to be useful as a lead counter, when other towers like a Rapid Reload Mortar can pop all leads for much cheaper. Its only major use case in this version is when Monkey Teams has no other option on restrictive terrains (e.g. Ninja-Engi-Tack on River Terrain).
The range crosspaths are useful for Ring of Fire to potentially hit Bloons more times. In the multiplatform version, these crosspaths often aren't significant enough to bolster its cleanup much compared to buying more Tack Shooters.
