Supply Drop is the Sniper Monkey's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It adds the Supply Drop ability, which triggers a plane to drop a crate after a few seconds. Each crate is worth $500–$1500 when collected. These crates can be picked up by Banana Farmers. The plane moves in a straight line from the left to the right side of the screen at a random angle and drops a crate at a random time while on screen. In the Flash version, the ability has a full initial cooldown after purchasing the Sniper.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]

Supply Drop is a viable alternative to Farms when given enough time to use its ability. Rounds are often too short in most games to pay off more than Farms but stands out in Contested Territory, especially when Farm is banned. The method of Supply Drop farming varies depending on version of the game.

In the Flash version, use Ice towers to stall out Bloons near the start (this is especially effective when permastalling with Shard of Everfrost and Enhanced Freeze), and have the Snipers uncrosspathed to keep the Bloons as long alive as possible. Snipers will break an infinite stall due to them inherently having Frozen popping power, but one can still maximize the round lengths to get the most out of the crates. Some heavy cleanup of MOABs is required, often using a Spiked Mines at the back for this purpose.

In the multiplatform version, since Ice cannot refreeze Bloons, the farming strategy instead is to use Energy Beacon's 50% ability cooldown reductions to maximize crates and spam the cash ability while collecting crates.
