The Ice Bloon is a recurring bloon featured in the Bloons series starting with the original Bloons that when popped, will freeze any bloon nearby. When a bloon is frozen, any projectile from the monkey except from the level skip is destroyed on contact, although darts will instead bounce off of a frozen bloon. Almost every bloon that can pop other bloons, with the exception of the Tack Bloon outside of the iOS port of Bloons and Bloons Festive Fun, and the Bee Bloon, can pop frozen bloons, although only Bomb Bloons can destroy an ice bloon without freezing bloons.
The Ice Bloon also makes an appearance in the iOS version of Hot Air Bloon, but is functionally different, as it instead lets the player monkey survive for longer instead of freezing the blimp on contact.
