Bloons (or Bloons 1) is the first game of the Bloons series, which released on March 27, 2007. The game was developed by Stephen and Chris Harris, two brothers from New Zealand.
Gameplay
The player controls a monkey that can aim darts in any direction, and the speed and angle of the darts can be controlled. Each level must be beaten within a certain amount of darts, unless Unlimited Darts mode is turned on. There are several different types of Bloons that each have unique effects.

- Regular Bloons come in 4 different colors and take 1 dart to pop.
- Ice Bloons freeze bloons in a small area around them when popped. Frozen Bloons cannot be popped, and darts bounce off them.
- Tack Bloons shoot out tacks in 8 directions when popped that can pop other Bloons.
