Candy Falls is a Beginner map in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 17.0. It is a forest decorated with candies and features a river of chocolate that runs vertically down the middle.

This map is a reference to the Roald Dahl novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and its film adaptation.

Layout

Candy Falls is a long map filled with candies, including a candy house and trees with bits of candy, plus a chocolate river. The entire track is a pink path consisting of rocky road. Its many loops and curves throughout the map makes Candy Falls the 5th longest map in BTD6, only after Scrapyard, Logs, Resort, and Cubism.

There are two small loops, one near the bottom-right and one on the top-left. There is a vertical river of chocolate running down the center of this map that allows for water tower placements. The watermill near the candy house blocks placement.

Strategy

Candy Falls, being a very long map with many good tower placements, is one of the easiest maps in BTD6. An extremely wide array of strategies work on this map, and using general guidelines below, all game modes on this map can be beaten relatively easily.

Towers that excel on Candy Falls in particular are listed below.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Destroyer The layout of this map allows both sides of Destroyer's guns to attack at once when Bloons are above and below it, which happens often when the boat is placed near the center, maximizing its power. It sweeps the mid-game with ease and can save up to Perma-Brew very easily when using five of them with the 3-(1 or 2)-0 crosspath or one Carrier Flagship, paired with Admiral Brickell, and given Camo detection. With Perma-Brew, Destroyers become absolute powerhouses and wipe out the entire late-game.

Easter eggs

Some areas of the map serve as hiding spots for eight Oompa Loompa monkeys. Interacting with one of them causes an Oompa Loompa monkey to appear and produce a generic "appear" sound, or for the top right corner Oompa Loompa monkey, produce a special tune that begins the sequence of the song "Oompa Loompa". The other Oompa Loompa monkeys can now be interacted with to complete the song.

To reveal all the Oompa Loompa monkeys such that they play all of the song's tunes, and earning the player the "Golden Ticket" achievement, they must be revealed in the following order:

  1. The top right corner
  2. The door of the house
  3. The chocolate waterfall
  4. The top left corner
  5. The right side of the chocolate river between the middle and lower lanes of the track
  6. The bottom right corner
  7. The watermill
  8. The bottom left corner

If the player fails to complete the song's sequence, by selecting the wrong Oompa Loompa monkey or by not selecting any of them for a few seconds, a "failure" tune is played, and the player needs to start over.

If successful, the entire sequence represents the first line of the Oompa Loompa theme song in A minor.

Trivia

  • The watermill is missing from the map's thumbnail, despite appearing in-game and in the island statue in Odysseys and Boss Rush events.
