Hero Skins are a customisation feature in Bloons TD 6 and Bloons Pop!. They are unlockable reskins of Heroes that replace their models, animations, visual effects, and audio.
Bloons TD 6
Most Hero Skins are purchased with Monkey Money, She-Ra is part of an in-app-purchase bundle in games with a store and Red Sauda is obtained via gift codes. Some Hero Skins are exclusive to the Chinese version. Skins are mostly cosmetic, but they have different Trophy Store cosmetics, and in Rogue Legends, they have different starter parties.
In Bloons TD Battles 2, Hero Skins are replaced with Hero Alts, which have gameplay differences from the Heroes they are derived from. Many Hero Skins in BTD6 reappear as Hero Alts in Battles 2, though some Hero Alts are wholly original.
