Ezili is a monkey character introduced in Bloons TD 6. She is a voodoo practitioner who curses Bloons with hexes.

Gameplay

Bloons TD series

Ezili is a Hero specializing in damage over time, with prominent support utility via stripping Bloons of any modifiers, preventing MOAB-Class Bloons from spawning any children, and spawning a totem that grants towers Camo detection and improved attack and projectile speeds (at the cost of lives), in addition to having a passive, map-wide Necromancer-specific pierce buff. She is also the only tower in the franchise that pops both Lead and Camo Bloons without upgrades.

In Battles 2, she more generally buffs Wizard Monkeys in her range. Her Hero Alt, Smudge Catt Ezili, focuses more on immediate damage and effects at the cost of less effective overall support.

Bloons Card Storm

Ezili is a Hero focused primarily on support. She passively buffs Bloons that are spawned on her side, can grant temporary ammo to Monkeys at the cost of lives, and damage all enemy Bloons based on their delay. Many of her cards also focus on support.

General information

Appearance

Ezili has purple fur, somewhat pale skin (with the brightness being inconsistent in artwork and models), purple eyes, and purple hair styled in a short, rough ponytail on top of her head. She wears a dark violet robe with a matching hair tie, and has two scars on her forehead, one X-shaped on her left side and the other a simple slash on her top-right side. She is almost never seen without her primary weapon, a simple brown stick she uses for magic. In Bloons TD 6 and Battles 2, her appearance changes as she levels up:

• At level 3, her stick has a heart charm attached.
• At level 7, her stick gains a head with the design of a cubed monkey skull.
• At level 10, her hair grows darker, her ponytail slightly longer, and her stick's head gains a light green glow in its eyes.
• At level 16, her scars grow light green, her pupils gain a green glow, her hands are covered with white wraps, her ponytail gains violet highlights, and the skull on her stick turns white.
• At level 20, she gains a wooden mask that obscures most of her eyes, a pair of white leggings, and a longer ponytail with a fuchsia tip. Her stick gains an additional skull design and becomes slightly darker.

Personality and traits

Ezili is very ominous and is rarely shown to smile, instead usually sporting a dismissive expression; it has been stated that these elements of her personality do not come from a phase. She has a prominent interest in Pokémon to the point of avid shiny hunting, and she is also interested secretly in scrapbooking. Additionally, she loves cats strongly, having three herself and bonding with Etienne over them.

In her normal form, her voice has a reverb applied to it. It is unclear if this is how she sounds in canon.

Galaxili

Galaxili is a cosmological version of Ezili that appears in BTD6. Their fur is dark blue, and their skin is light pink. At higher levels, their cape's color changes from purple to cyan, and their staff and head gain additional space-themed accessories and rainbow accents. Contrasting with the original Ezili, their voice is less ominous, and only Activated Abilities' lines have the reverb effect applied. They have set a Least Tiers challenge for the player at the Grow Less Than Galaxili! quest on Geared. Unlike the original Ezili, Galaxili uses they/them pronouns, as shown on the Grow Less Than Galaxili! quest.

• Her favorite Starbucks order is a venti pumpkin spice latte with six shots of espresso and eight pumps of pumpkin sauce (she enjoys the pumpkin flavor a lot).

• Ezili takes her name from Ezili Dantor, a dominant spirit in Haitian Vodou.
