Physical appearance sections

Dart Monkey

Dart Monkeys are monkeys with orange skin, dark orange fur, and a tuft of hair. The basic Dart Monkey wears no clothing, and it holds a dart with yellow flights. Since BTD4, its upgrades change its appearance:

Bloons TD 4

  • Spike-o-pult makes the Dart Monkey operate a catapult that holds a spiked ball.
  • Triple Shot removes the monkey in favor of widening the catapult and adding two more heads to hold three spiked balls.

Bloons TD 6

Sniper Monkey

The base Sniper Monkey is depicted as a monkey with brown fur, tan skin and brown eyes wearing a green beret with a camo pattern adorned with a large yellow circular emblem. Its rifle is consistently depicted as completely grey, equipped with a scope sporting a lime green lens. Its upgrades change its appearance:

Bloons TD 5

  • Full Metal Jacket changes the color of the beret to red.
  • Point Five Oh changes the color of the beret to purple.
  • Deadly Precision changes the color of the beret to black as well as making the scope glow. In the artwork, it depicts the Sniper Monkey having a scar in its left eye; this is not depicted in game.
  • Faster Firing changes the color of the beret to blue. The Faster Firing appearance takes priority over Full Metal Jacket.
  • Night Vision Goggles adds grey goggles with green lenses to the monkey.
