User:Qwertyxp2000/Monkey Teams (BMC)
Monkey Teams is an event in Bloons Monkey City, introduced in the Flash version on DATE / VERSION, and the multiplatform version on Version 1.7 with the release of Limited Time Events. Players use a loadout from two or three types of towers, alongside a few exceptions. The exceptions include enabling Monkey Village and Road Items, Powers, Continues, and usually also Banana Farm (always in the multiplatform version). Each Monkey Teams event always lasts for 24 hours.
The rewards can be Bloonstones or Monkey Knowledge Packs, with the Bloonstone reward scaling with City Level. The reward also works when replaying in My Tracks.

Every Monkey Teams is worth doing? All possible?
Multiplatform version
It is recommended to grind this on Bloonprint Hideout, which is the fastest way to grind the rewards. Otherwise, by using the guidelines below, grind on the next available Bloon Beacon with the given loadout for the fastest results while also summoning Boss Bloons to also grind for the weekly Level 20 Boss rewards.
Almost every single Monkey Teams loadout that is in schedule is recommended, except for Tack-Ace. Of the recommended loadouts, all of them have sufficient grouped popping and single-target damage, and are reliably affordable on all stages of the game, but only a few combos are usable on all terrains. So, it's a matter of picking the right terrains for the given loadouts.
Only a few loadouts are usable on all terrains. Ignoring the "difficult" multi-lane tracks (e.g. Totems, Butterfly, Arrows, Pretzels, Pickaxe), when including the optional extra towers and road items, Ninja can be the single only option on anything except River and Lake tiles, and Dart on any except Hills and Snow. Thus, any loadout with both Ninja and Dart will work on all terrains, accounting for the difficult tracks.
The following tower types are recommended to add on every tile when available, and can have easy solo capability with only minor support needed sometimes:
- Ninja Monkey (restricted on River and Lake)
- Dart Monkey (restricted on Hills and Snow)
- Dartling Gun (restricted on Mountains and Snow)
- Monkey Buccaneer (requires water)
- Monkey Sub (requires water)
The following solo tower types are doable on tiles but are not recommended due to difficulty:
- Super Monkey (only possible without consumables on River Bloon Beacons due to the cash required)
- Tack Shooter
- Monkey Ace
The following tower types must have support in order to be remotely possible without consumables (note: Mortar Monkey never appears in the current schedule):
- Sniper Monkey and Spike Factory (grouped weaknesses)
- Ice Monkey and Glue Gunner (no direct MOAB-class damage)
Prioritize capturing terrains in advance in case Bloon Beacon picks a tile that other Monkey Teams cannot do. The following terrains should be completely for in regards to loadouts that won't at all work due to tower restrictions alone:
- Snow Terrain: Dartling-Chipper, Dart-Sniper, Dart-Spike-Sub, Dart-Bomb, Dart-Super, Dart-Engineer-Chipper, Engineer-Super
- Hills Terrain: Dart-Sniper, Dart-Spike-Sub, Dart-Bomb, Dart-Super
- Heavy Forest Terrain: Sub-Chipper-Heli
- Mountain Terrain: Dartling-Chipper, Sub-Chipper-Heli
- Desert Terrain: Ice-Glue-Spac
- River Terrain: Ninja-Bomb
- Lake Terrain: Ninja-Bomb
The following tracks on specific terrains should be avoided for Monkey Teams, which are, while possible for a few loadouts, too difficult for most loadouts:
- All Volcano Terrains (no Village or Ice)
- Snow Terrain: Pickaxe, Pretzel
- Desert Terrain: Arrow
- Heavy Forest Terrain: Butterfly
- Jungle Terrain: Totems
- Hills Terrain: Y Hills, Mustache
Specifically for Ace-Tack, it is not recommended to play this combo on normal tiles. Instead, the optimal route is to only grind My Tracks on MOAB Graveyard using Spectres. If ever desiring to play regular tiles, use track Pineapples to pop early Leads with proper timing, rush Ring Of Fire or Monkey Intelligence Bureau later on to avoid relying on pineapples, avoid difficult single-lane tracks, and never play on multi-lanes or Hard and Heavy.
