Shield (BCS)

In Bloons Card Storm, Shield is a form of protection of a Bloon or a Hero. Most shields have a certain HP before they break. However, there is a special 1-hit shield that absorbs all damage from an attack.

Bloon Shield

Bloon Shields block off damage from any hit, consequently also blocking off any on-damage effects. A Bloon with a shield is inside a transparent bubble. Some Bloons come with shield by default, such as Bolstered Bloon, however the presence of a shield is not shown on the card.

Hero Shield

Hero Shields block off Bloons. Heroes can gain shield from certain cards and abilities that grant shields. A hero with a multi-HP shield is inside a transparent bubble.

Hero Protection is a special type of shield, which blocks exactly one Bloon of any HP.
