Hero Challenge is a game mode in Bloons TD Battles 2. It was originally exclusive to Bloons TD Battles 2+, then was ported to all other platforms in version 4.3. It is a single-player mode where the player has to survive a certain number of rounds with Bloon sends from an AI opponent. The player can still use their own Bloon sends, but only for generating income, similarly to Defense mode in Bloons TD Battles. There are five different opponents, each of which behave differently and come in different levels of difficulty. The player can choose how many rounds are required, what map the match is played on, and whether to use a random loadout like in Random Quad or a custom loadout. The only rewards for completing Hero Challenge games are accolades.

	T.D T.D. just wants to help you practice. He can't send bloons because he doesn't have hands to push the buttons with. You can focus on defending the natural bloons and trying out different monkeys.
	Quincy Quincy is a chill guy who likes to take it easy. He'll send occasional, easy rushes that will keep you on your toes but shouldn't be too difficult to defend against.
	Gwendolin Gwendolin is as relentless and hungry as a wildfire. She'll keep up a continuous stream of efficent bloons. She might be predictable, but get complacent and you'll quickly become overwhelmed.
	Striker Jones Striker Jones is a military mastermind who takes no prisoners. He'll send regular, dangerous rushes of the strongest bloons available to try and defeat you.
	Agent Jericho Agent Jericho is a truly dangerous opponent who doesn't play by the rules. He'll make full use of his special abilities to try and overcome your defences and has even been known to cheat!
