The Bloon Beacon is a game mechanic in Bloons Adventure Time TD unlocked at rank 5. It allows the player to replay a specific map to earn better rewards than replaying it normally. The Beacon can reward character resources, the type of which is indicated in the Bloon Beacon's pop-up on the main menu.

When the Bloon Beacon is charged, it selects a map that the player has already earned at least one medal on, and it takes effect on difficulty levels the player already owns medals for on that map. Playing the map on a difficulty level the player does not have a medal for allows the Beacon to apply to that difficulty, without using the Beacon up first. Each time it charges, it selects a new map and character resource type.

The Bloon Beacon recharges every four hours, regardless of whether or not the player has earned its rewards. If the timer reaches 0 time remaining while the player is offline, it stops until the player signs in again, then recharges the Beacon. If the player has already claimed the Beacon's rewards for the current cycle, they can recharge it instantly at the cost of  1 Gem per 4 minutes and 48 seconds remaining, rounded up (up to  50 Gems if four hours remain).

Rewards

Completing a Bloon Beacon map earns coins, shards, a wish orb, character resources, and experience depending on the difficulty. On Extreme only, it also has a chance to reward one power. Character resources have a 4% chance of being replaced with Cosmic Essence.

The Bloon Beacon rewards 20% fewer coins and shards on 1-skull maps and 10% fewer on 2-skull maps.
