The Fertilizer is a Geraldo's Shop item in Bloons TD 6. It applies a buff to any Banana Farm, increasing its cash production by +20% for 4 rounds. This production boost applies to the end-of-round cash from Monkey Wall Street but does not apply to any of the Banana Farm's abilities, nor to the interest of Monkey Bank or its subsequent upgrades. The buff expiration occurs before end-of-round cash.

The Fertilizer is an excellent farming tool, significantly increasing the cash generation of a farm for a cheap price. In general, it is more effective the better the farm it is applied to - the best being Banana Research Facility and Banana Central, especially with the Valuable Bananas crosspath and when they are additionally buffed by Overclock and Monkey City. It is less effective and should not be purchased for farms which are only tier 2 or lower. Additionally, it is a poor choice to apply to Monkey Banks and subsequent upgrades, because their interest and abilities are not improved by the Fertilizer, only the basic cash generation.

Since Geraldo's Fertilizer takes 3 rounds to restock and lasts for 4 rounds on a Farm, Geraldo can keep one Farm constantly fertilized, or alternate fertilizing two Farms, with both Farms occasionally being fertilized at the same time. When one has a single Farm which is strictly the best (such as Banana Central), that one should be constantly fertilized. Otherwise if there are two or more identical Farms that are the best Fertilizer candidate, they should be alternately fertilized.
