The Bee Keeper (or Beekeeper) is a tower present in the Bloons TD series, introduced in Bloons TD 5. It is a grizzly bear that uses bees to attack Bloons, summoned from a bee's nest it carries around.

It appears as a Special Agent in all versions of Bloons TD 5 and as a proper tower in the mobile version of Bloons TD 4 (in a version released after BTD5's launch).

Gameplay

The Bee Keeper targets single Bloons, with a bee latching onto one until fully popped (though if a Bloon has multiple children, it will only be attached to one). In Bloons TD 5, its status as a Special Agent means it does not cost cash to place, while in the mobile version of Bloons TD 4, it is slightly above average in terms of price.

In Bloons TD 5, it costs   120 per agent. It has a Pro variant that functions exactly the same as the base agent, except with an Activated Ability that releases a swarm of 100 bees across the screen, latching on to any Bloons it can pop.

In Bloons TD 4, the Bee Keeper functions as a proper tower, unlocked after popping 2 million Bloons.

Other appearances

The Bee Keeper makes a cameo in Bloons TD Battles 2, appearing in Beetienne's paid cosmetic avatar and banner.

General information

Appearance

The base Bee Keeper is usually depicted as a large brown bear with tan skin and a tan muzzle with black eyes. It wears nothing except for a red headband, and carries around a yellow bee's nest.
