Sauda is a character who first appeared in Bloons TD 6. She is a master of the blade who uses her twin swords to attack Bloons.

Gameplay

Bloons TD series

Sauda is a Hero who slices and debuffs Bloons very quickly at close range with her swords, especially along curves, intersecting map paths and loops, with additional damage towards stunned Bloons and, eventually, Bloons with any debuff not applied by herself. Relative to other Heroes, she costs less but levels up slowly.

Sauda is a Korean swordsmonkey who is highly confident in her abilities, to the point where she declares that she can handle a DDT when noticing one (though she will still acknowledge that a BAD would take a team effort). She has been mentioned in passing through the Ninja Kiwi blog as being very athletic and always willing to help others improve their skills.

Despite her skills, there have been a few incidents where she accidentally harmed herself with her swords.

Other forms

Viking Sauda

Viking Sauda is a version of Sauda based on popular representations of Scandinavian Vikings. The skin exchanges Sauda's swords for axes, in addition to changing her hair color and clothing.

Jiangshi Sauda

Jiangshi Sauda is an undead version of Sauda. She is based on a jiāngshī, a type of undead creature in Chinese folklore similar to a zombie, and also mixes influence from an unspecified "favorite show" of Bloons TD 6's art team.

Red Sauda

Red Sauda is a version of Sauda tinted red. Nothing else about her changes.

• She crafted her blades herself from a rock that fell out of the sky, overseen by a "great swordsmaster".
• She has the best table manners among Heroes.
• She owns a popular dojo, creatively named The Sauda Dojo (or Dojang).
• When using her Sword Charge ability on maps with multiple lanes, she moves so fast it looks like there are multiple Saudas.
• She is the most athletic Hero overall.
• She likes to do technical tricks when bouncing on a trampoline.
• She loves cooking, especially recipes with tomatoes.
• She likes ice skating, which might be at least in part due to "walking around on mini blades".
• Even though she has yet to play Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, she likes Raiden's design.
• She has a very large collection of blades, enough to be considered an armory.
• She once proposed a plane that would drop swords on Bloons, but it never went anywhere.
• She loves frying tofu with lots of sauce. Other favorite snacks of hers include chocolate chia pudding and Harvest Snaps. In general, while her diet leans towards vegetarianism, she doesn't strictly abide by it.
• If Sauda were a standard tower, she would be Magic-class. This is because her blades are enchanted, though it is not noticeable until she levels up. This was stated before the Heroic Specialty Artifact categorized her as Primary.
• She goes through a lot of Sharpening Stones, to the point where Geraldo almost went out of stock at least once.
• Her favorite type of tea is jasmine tea, due to its antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.
• She is a big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog.
• Her favorite Animal Crossing villager is Shino.
• She has some mixed martial arts skills, but she prefers using her swords.
• She jumps the highest out of the Heroes.
• She might secretly want to learn Pat Fusty's slapping technique.
• She has kept many of her 1st place ribbons from her Track and Field days.

Cultural references

• Her voice line "Clean cuts, and still cuts a tomato" may be a reference to an infomercial for a line of Ginsu-brand kitchen knives. The commercial demonstrates a knife sawing a lead pipe and still being sharp enough to slice a tomato, narrated, "The Ginsu 2000 can saw a lead pipe and still slice a tomato like this!"
