The Tack (Tack Shooter Monkey prior to version 1.0) is a Monkey in Bloons Blitz. It continuously fires volleys of 8 tacks per shot.

Hot Tacks Path

Hot Tacks

Tier 1

Periodically fire more dangerous, heated tacks.

This upgrade causes every third shot from its main attack to fire eight hot tacks instead, which deal 12 base damage (16 with the Level 2 version) instead of 3. More Tacks, Even More Tacks, and Tack Sprayer only increase the number of hot tacks fired at a time if the player chooses them after choosing this upgrade.

Hotter Tacks

Tier 2

Hot tacks deal even more damage.

This upgrade increases the damage dealt by the Tack Shooter Monkey's Hot Tacks by 200%, effectively dealing 36 damage (48 damage with the Level 2 version of Hot Tacks).

Industrial Heaters

Tier 2

Hot tacks fire more often.

This upgrade causes the Tack Shooter Monkey's main attack to fire hot tacks on every second shot instead of every third shot. State of the Art Heaters overrides this upgrade's effect.

Ring of Fire

Shoots fireballs instead of hot tacks.

Blades Path

Tier 1

Fires large, shredding blades.

This upgrade unlocks a secondary attack that fires two blade projectiles in opposite directions 0.9 times per second. Its firing angle rotates 45° clockwise each time it shoots, effectively alternating between four directions. Its blades deal 10 damage and have 10 pierce (15 damage and 15 pierce with the Level 2 version) with a 2% base chance to crit.

More Blades

Tier 2

Fire more blades per attack.

This upgrade causes the Blade Shooter attack to fire two more blade projectiles at a time. By default, it fires four projectiles at a time in a cross shape. With Blade Maelstrom, it fires eight projectiles at a time (twelve with Blade Maelstrom's Level 2 version).

Swarm Path

Tack Onslaught

Tier 2

Significantly increase attack speed.

This upgrade increases the attack speed of all of the Tack Shooter Monkey's attacks by 200%, including Blade Shooter if crosspathed with it.

Even More Tacks

Tier 2

Fires more tacks per attack.

This upgrade increases the number of tacks fired at a time by its main attack by 4, stacking additively with More Tacks and Tack Sprayer. This also increases the number of Hot Tacks fired at a time only if the player applies this upgrade after applying Hot Tacks first.
