Tuxedo Jake is a character in Bloons Adventure Time TD. He is unlockable by purchasing him from the store for real money or the Martian Trader for 
75,000 Martian Crystals while he is in stock.
Tuxedo Jake does not attack, instead providing buffs to all towers placed within his range. Initially, he provides a 10% discount to towers and upgrades (which increases based on his star level), but his upgrades allow him to provide other buffs, such as increasing attack speed and range, similar to a Monkey Village in other Bloons TD games. His upgrades also allow him to generate cash by spawning collectables, similar to a Banana Farm. His Activated Ability grants him an attack and buffs the attack speed of all towers on-screen for a short time.

Tuxedo's Jake is a powerful support character that if the player acquires him early on, helps with many early-game pitfalls through his income and camo-detection. He remains useful later on for his array of buffs and global discount, and even for his income.
His primary use is for his array of buffs. Baseline, he discounts towers by 10%, and higher levels improve the effectiveness of this discount, letting the player set up their defense earlier than usual. His Allegro Tempo grants all towers in his range +10% attack speed, while Inspiring Melody is the equivalent of a Monkey Intelligence Bureau, granting camo detection and letting any tower affected by him pop any bloon. As Fame has no use because Rock Out! performs its intended function and the preceding upgrade, Catchy Tunes, can cause lag and cannot transfer influence buffs from trinkets, it is highly recommended that the Catchy Tunes/Fame path is avoided. Because of these buffs, he is the best candidate for items that provide buffs for other towers, such as Siren Hat and Treetrunk's Apple Knife, with range-increasing items such as Glasses of Nerdicon and Baby Blanket for buffing the most towers. He can also use Baby Tooth for more uptime on his speed boost from Rock Out!.
Even though he is primarily used for buffs, he can also provide income. While Superstar is the main source of income before level 7, once he reaches level 7, he can use Fortune for large sums of cash. As Fortune drops 250 cash for every red bloon popped, this results in round 9 outside of Martian Games earning over 10,000 cash, and likewise round 13 earns over 20,000 cash, although this requires him popping every bloon. Because it will not award the cash from any bloon besides a red bloon, he must not run any damage-increasing items, including The Lover, for maximum effectiveness, and Banana Replicator does not affect the cash from this. Thus, the standard support build can be used, but with an attack speed instrument such as Golden Viola or Jake's Viola instead of a damage buffing instrument.
While Tuxedo Jake can be useful, he is not necessary for clearing or unlocking any content besides his associated adventure, and the maps from his associated adventure can appear in events or Martian Games. If the player opts for purchasing Tuxedo Jake with real money, waiting for the discount that arrives in intervals of slightly over a month is recommended if possible, as it will save 40% compared with buying him outside of said discount.
