About BTD1 and BTD2 towers

Hello,

We appreciate your help a lot in making these general pages, and you've done good work so far. I believe I need to clarify what just happened though.

The template used for the gameplay links I very hastily edited to include the BTD1 and BTD2 towers in them by copying the line from BTD3. That I guess caused some confusion as there was never a plan to make those pages as before BTD3, towers were not complex enough to warrant a page and can be stuck to the game's page just fine. BTD3 imo is on the edge of that, but it's the most recent version with that engine and each tower has 4 upgrades compared to 2, so it's probably fine.

So I'd like to apologize a little bit for misleading you with that edit. At some point the gameplay link template will link to the correct pages for BTD1 and BTD2, but I don't feel like dealing with that right now. Planterror (talk) 16:08, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
