Splody Darts helps dart-based Monkeys to increase their damage, damage [[Lead Bloon (BTD6)|Lead Bloons]], and provide a little help against dense rounds. Benefits are greater on Towers with fast attack speed or that can send multiple projectiles at once, such as Super Monkeys and Monkey Buccaneers (excluding bottom path) to have greater chances of having explosions, so any buff to attack speed is welcome to have more chances of triggering explosions. Splody Darts is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6. It gives projectiles shot by dart-wielding towers a 20% chance to explode when they expire. The explosions have 4 pierce and can damage all Bloon types except Black and Zebra. The explosions can only hit Camo Bloons if its parent tower has Camo detection.
Affected monkeys include Dart Monkeys, Monkey Subs, Monkey Buccaneers (including grapes and cannon ball's frags), Monkey Aces, Heli Pilots, Dartling Gunners, Super Monkeys and Etienne's drones for any of their attacks that travel on a straight line. Even if an upgrade such as Laser Blasts or Plasma Blasts changes the visuals of a monkey's projectiles to no longer be darts, they will still explode.
