Extra Range is sub-par when used by itself, as the extra range barely improves on the already inefficient 0-0-0 Bomb Shooter. Thus, Extra Range is only recommended for use as a crosspath for MOAB Mauler, MOAB Assassin, and MOAB Eliminator if extra range is desired, although these upgrades prefer Bigger Bombs for extra pierce most of the time. Extra Range is not recommended for Really Big Bombs, Bloon Impact, and Bloon Crush, unless it's to progress to Frag Bombs.
