Fighter Plane is the Monkey Ace's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6.
Fighter Plane is the Monkey Ace's path 1 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD 6.
This upgrade increases the Monkey Ace's flight speed by 20% and adds a new attack, firing twin missiles that can only target and damage MOAB-Class Bloons. The missiles are shot out every 3 seconds and only while MOAB-Class Bloons are present on screen, locked on Strong, each dealing 18 damage with 4 pierce. They also home in towards their targets and can rapidly accelerate and turn during flight. The missiles cannot damage Black Bloons, and therefore cannot damage DDTs on their own.

Stats
With Exploding Pineapple, missile pierce is increased from 4 to 6 and each missile explosion leaves behind an Exploding Pineapple.

Fighter Plane is a decent long-range method for popping early MOABs for cheap, though it is more expensive than MOAB Mauler while having inferior damage and pierce. Its main use is beating the Round 40 MOAB on maps with obstacles or as a stepping stone to Operation: Dart Storm. Crosspathing is generally not needed, as the Exploding Pineapple's missile bonuses are too minor, and Spy Plane is only needed when fighting Phayze.
