Rapid Reload is generally not used by itself, and is instead relegated to being a stepping stone to its succeeding upgrades or a crosspath. For lower-tiers, it's effective on [[Race Event]]s for early-game Mortar when using 1-2-0, 2-2-0, or 0-2-2. As a crosspath, it is optimal with [[Signal Flare (BTD6)|Signal Flare]], as the reliability coming from Rapid Reload's extra attack speed is key to Signal Flare.
