Support Chinook's ability to pick up towers, grant cash and lives, and offer stalling and bloon control make it an extremely flexible support tower, one of the best in the game.

The Chinook shines in [[Least Tiers]] boss events, where it can perform versatile functions such as stalling out rounds, defending early-game rounds, being the sole cash generation in a run, and moving around other powerful towers like [[Super Mines (BTD6)|Super Mines]] and [[Super Brittle (BTD6)|Super Brittle]]. The tower also finds use in [[Least Cash]] bosses for the same reason of having multiple functions in one, for example defending early-game rounds cheaply with the previous upgrade [[Downdraft (BTD6)|Downdraft]]. The Chinook also builds into the next upgrade tier [[Special Poperations (BTD6)|Special Poperations]] nicely.

While the Chinook doesn't necessarily need crosspaths to be an effective option, it does benefit well from 0-4-2 to improve its blowback, which mainly comes into play for [[CHIMPS]] to use Chinook for its improved Downdraft.
