Despite costing more than a second 0-0-0 Sub, it's very much worth upgrading to 0-0-1 in CHIMPS if planning for an early [[Airburst Darts (BTD6)|Airburst Darts]], which carries the early-game. For crosspathing purposes, it is the only meaningful crosspath for [[Submerge and Support (BTD6)|Submerge and Support]], recommended for [[Bloontonium Reactor (BTD6)|Bloontonium Reactor]] outside of [[Race Event]]s, and recommended unconditionally for [[Energizer (BTD6)|Energizer]].
