However, the extra projectile size allows for more of these projectiles to hit Bloons where the thinner tacks would not, thus taking better advantage of pierce than 3-2-0 [[Hot Shots (Battles 2)|Hot Shots]] or 0-2-3 [[Tack Sprayer (Battles 2)|Tack Sprayer]].

2-3-0 is generally preferred, with 1-3-0 and 0-3-0 being viable stepping stones into it to save money for greeding more eco or an early Farm. 0-3-2 can be useful due to the large pierce gain in addition to bonus projectiles, but it's too slow for the stat bonuses it provides and will struggle to catch up to fast-moving Bloons.
