Glue Hose serves two very different roles depending on its crosspath. 2-3-0 is a mid-game support tower, being able to slow down {{B|Ceramic Bloon|BTD6}}s significantly while performing minor damage to them. However, 2-3-0's lack of utility for blimps, slow damage-over-time effect, and struggles against dense clumps of lower-tier Bloons mean that it is generally better to obtain a mid-game tower that performs strong raw damage on these Bloons.

The 0-3-2 Glue Hose is tailored for {{B|Super Ceramic Bloon|BTD6}}s past Round 80, with 0-3-2's added Bloon slow and glue duration making it far better for dealing with Super Ceramics. It serves its role relatively well, but still leaks Ceramics on hyperdense rounds such as 98. Thus, it pairs well with {{B|Arctic Wind|BTD6}}, with their compounded slow effects preventing Ceramics from leaking.
