Even Faster Firing is generally not recommended as a standalone tower, as its attack speed boost is not worth its cost. It should always be used as a crosspath, and begins to become significant as a crosspath for a Tier 3. Two uncrosspathed {{BTD6|Full Metal Jacket}}s are more efficient than one 1-0-2 Sniper, and a 2-0-2 {{BTD6|Large Calibre}} is sub-par. With {{BTD6|Shrapnel Shot}}, a 0-2-2 Sniper performs well in the early-game and takes care of all {{BTD6|Camo Bloon}}s there.

Even Faster Firing pairs well with {{BTD6|Deadly Precision}} and all Tier 3+ middle-path Snipers. Deadly Precision appreciates faster one-shots and increased single-target damage, and Tier 3+ middle-path Snipers gain consistency and synergize much better with external buffs. Even Faster Firing is recommended for {{BTD6|Cripple MOAB}} in [[Boss Bloon Event]]s (except when facing [[Phayze]]) to keep them debuffed for longer uptime. For {{BTD6|Maim MOAB}}, Even Faster Firing is only needed for a ZOMG perma-stun in the absence of external speed buffs; in Boss Events, the need to stall out a ZOMG becomes important, leading to 4-0-2 being redundant over 4-0-1 if ZOMGs are already perma-stunned in the presence of many external speed buffs.
