Juggernaut is the Dart Monkey's path 1 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It increases the Spike-O-Pult's attack speed and replaces its spiked balls with much larger spiked balls that travel much faster, can pop up to 100 Bloons instead of 18, can damage Lead Bloons and frozen Bloons, and deal +3 damage to Ceramic Bloons.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]

Because of its cheap price, Juggernaut is best used in batches of 2 to 3 on straight lines to maximize its high pierce against groups of Bloons, especially Ceramic Bloons due to its bonus damage. Certain targeting options can make it attack more consistently on specific straight lines so it doesn't chase Bloons as likely. It also has the benefit of being a relatively cheap upgrade for early Camo Lead Bloon popping, especially useful for Dart reliant Monkey Teams.

Juggernaut is affected by a different beneficial bug on each version. On the multiplatform version, a Monkey Intelligence Bureau can be placed nearby to many Juggernauts to deal bonus damage to all Bloon types MOAB and higher, resulting in massive packed MOAB-Class popping power. On the Flash version, upgrading a Dart Monkey transformed by Super Monkey Fan Club results in the rapid fire attack transferring over to firing Juggernaut balls instead of darts for the duration of the ability. This can be combined with the Permanent SMFC bug to keep firing juggernauts for an indefinite period of time.

It is not recommended to crosspath with Sharp Shots or Razor Sharp Shots as the extra pierce is tiny in comparison to the Juggernaut's 100 pierce.
