Decoration

Decorations are a type of building exclusive to the multiplatform version of Bloons Monkey City. They are cosmetic items that do not consume any power or produce any experience when built. They are analogous to Premium Buildings from the Flash version. Most decorations are bought with City Cash, sometimes requiring the player to reach a certain City Level first, but others are only obtainable from the Store or as rewards from certain events, usually in themed item packs. Many pack and event-exclusive items allow the player to purchase additional copies with City Cash (or, in some cases, Bloonstones) once they are unlocked, or allow the player to place unlimited copies for free, but some only allow the player to obtain extra copies from events.

Types of decorations

• Paths — tileable decorations that allow monkeys to walk on top of them.
• Decor — general decorative items.
• Fences — consists of both fences that can be placed in the city and "city wall" items that change the look of the walls around the city.
• Buildings — large decorative items.
• Monkeys — monkeys that can walk around on paths. Some of them have special idle animations.
