Jungle Drums is one of the Village's best upgrades in most situations it is available in. It supports most strategies for the entire run, but is more cost-effective when bought after establishing a solid defense to survive the early game, since it can apply the buff to more towers and stronger towers by then. Like all attack speed buffs, it's more effective on towers that double-dip speed buffs, like [[Engineer Monkey (BTD6)|Engineer Monkey]]s with [[Sentry Gun (BTD6)|Sentries]], but less effective on attacks with additional delays that affect attack speed, such as the [[Desperado (BTD6)|Desperado]]'s pistol (and [[Enforcer]]'s shotgun).
 
Jungle Drums is more situational when the majority of damage comes from abilities unaffected by attack speed; or when focusing on [[Paragon]]s and space for their sacrifices is limited; or during challenges with Least Cash/Least Tiers rules or heavy restrictions on tower counts.
