It grants the Glue Gunner's glue a damage-over-time effect, dealing 1 damage every 2 seconds for the entire time the Bloon is glued. However, it performs little assistance against clumps of smaller Bloons (such as 27 and 36), in addition to missing its shots often on [[Expert]] maps. 2-2-0 is too expensive in the early-game compared to actual early-game carriers, unless wanting to transition to its higher top path upgrades.

Corrosive Glue is generally not recommended as a crosspath, outside of {{BTD6|Glue Strike}} and {{BTD6|Glue Storm}} which gain a signficant niche in Race Events and CT Time Attack against non-Freeplay bloons, maximizing pops from Corrosive Glue's self-synergetic damage dealing up to 15 total damage to every bloon on screen. While it makes {{BTD6|Glue Hose}} decent for the mid-game, the greatly improved utility against {{BTD6|Super Ceramic Bloon}}s granted by {{BTD6|Stronger Glue}} makes Stronger Glue the generally superior crosspath. On the other hand, {{BTD6|MOAB Glue}}, {{BTD6|Relentless Glue}}, and {{BTD6|Super Glue}} all benefit far more from the middle crosspath's increased pierce, as none of the glue effects soak blimp layers, and self-synergizing stuns in the midgame is often too impractical.
