Three Mines 'Round is among the easiest of the Beginner maps due to the loop, giving any tower 3-4 chances to target Bloons and a long track length.<!-- Notably, the extent of the Desperado's range perfectly covers the full loop, allowing it to maximize the potential of Quickdraw and Bullseye. - I think it's nice and all to point out how Desperado's range is funny here, but the loop clumps bloons very effectively and Desperado benefits less from that than pretty much any other tower in the game. --> It can be beaten with general strategies listed here.

The cheapest crystal is almost always worth harvesting, as it is cheaper than and just as efficient as early Banana Farms on Medium. Outside of CHIMPS and Half Cash, though, none of the other crystals are as efficient as traditional farming methods even on Impoppable, and generally only should be removed if the space or open sight lines are needed. Notably, even if all cheaper crystals up to that point have been mined, mining the next crystal still leaves the player at a deficit until that crystal is finished mining, which makes the last crystal practically never worth it in CHIMPS outside of specific challenge runs. It is better to instead invest in some crystals when defense is easily handling the rounds and generally avoid the later crystals.

Outside of CHIMPS and Half Cash, though, the other crystals are not as efficient as traditional farming methods (even on Impoppable), and generally should only be removed if the space or open sight lines are needed. The last crystal especially is too expensive and leaves the player in a deficit for too long to be worth it outside of CHIMPS challenge runs. It is generally better to invest in some crystals during easy rounds and ignore the more expensive crystals.
