Captain Cassie is a character that by default, can only be placed in water or neutral terrain. Captain Cassie is a character that by default, can only be placed in water or neutral terrain. She is mainly a support character who takes advantage of buffing her Tech Terrors and Gumbalds with Camo detection and extra range, allowing them to stop DDTs as well as utilizing buffing trinkets like Warning Horn and Siren Hat for more speed to them. Utitlize range trinkets like Powerometer and Bottle Rocket to maximize her range to do this effectively.
She does not do great DPS even when fully stocked with trinkets, as many other characters simply do more damage than her grape shot spray. If however the player wishes to make this build, normal damage buffs will not apply to the grape shot, but situational damage buffs like Engineers Blueprints do, which is practically essential for boosting her DPS. Her MOAB Takedown ability can stall and deal damage to BADs she has line of sight towards, and can hook multiple BADs with a high enough attack speed. Pirate Crew are recommended to increase the damage, and as they can only be placed on water, Cassie can be equipped with the Jetpack to conserve space for them, and to position her well while the boat is stuck in one position. Lady Rainicorn can also be used to place even more Pirate Crew in the event there is lacking or no water on the map.
Bomb & Chain is her best weapon in either build, as it provides the best range bonus and ensures she stays under an attack speed of 12 to prevent the boat from failing to rotate.
