needed all I can with researching the words used in the btd6 version first before writing down what I could for battles 2 version. Okay, I am not the best Bank person on the planet but bear with me, I am part of that small group of users who actually edits wiki pages for Battles 2 content.

Monkey Bank is the Banana Farm's path 2 tier 3 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles 2. Instead of producing bananas to collect, during rounds the Monkey Bank adds cash to an internal balance which not directly available for use, but can be withdrawn at any time. During a round, the Bank generates up to three $50 income packets (five with 1-3-0, seven with 2-3-0), totalling $150 ($250 with 1-3-0, $350 with 2-3-0). After a round ends, the Monkey Bank adds a lump sum of $450 ($500 with 1-3-0, $550 with 2-3-0), then increases its balance by 20% in interest. The Monkey Bank has a maximum balance of $14,000, and when the Monkey Bank is full it will no longer produce any cash in any way until the balance is withdrawn. The Bank will visually glow when full, which reminds the player to collect its cash.

If crosspathed with Banana Salvage, the Bank autocollects itself at the end of the round when full.<!--only end of round, yes it can still glow in the middle of the round if it tries to add another cash packet while full or goes to full-->

Monkey Bank excels at compounding money at the risk of not directly providing income right away until collected. Even with its rapid interest, it's far too risky to buy a Bank extremely early,<!--you CAN do stuff like r8 and r9 Bank, but that's a big handicap in standard games, even with good d--> as doing so will heavily slow the Farming curve, and eco alone won't fix that. For safe results, have at least one other Farm active and buy the Bank just before round 13 ends, provided the opponent is clearly not planning to rush you.
Both crosspaths are effective, however the 2-3-0 is preferred as a starting Bank, as the greater risk of buying a more expensive Bank that makes more direct income outweighs the few rounds of interest that a Bank would've gotten by purchasing it earlier should it go 0-3-1. 0-3-1 is still effective, but more so as a transition to 0-4-1 IMF Loan.
