Three Mines 'Round is among the easiest of the Beginner maps due to the loop, ~~allowing towers~~ to ~~cover most of the path from~~ a ~~single point~~. Notably, even if all cheaper crystals up to that point have been mined, mining the next crystal still leaves the player at a deficit until that crystal is finished mining, which makes the last crystal practically never worth it in CHIMPS outside of specific challenge runs. It is better to instead invest in some crystals when defense is easily handling the rounds and generally avoid the later crystals.
