Max is a monkey character in Bloons Adventure Time TD and Bloons Pop!. He is an experienced Dart Monkey who uses his darts to attack Bloons.
Gameplay
Max is a character who has simple but serviceable offense which, while having rather low damage, is nonetheless consistent and cheap.
He has an alternate form by the name of Juggernaut Max, focusing more on popping swarms of Bloons but being slower to attack.
Other appearances
Max appears as a major non-playable character in Bloons Pop!, appearing during story quests and when winning or losing a level.
In Bloons TD Battles 2, Max is the default custom name for Dart Monkeys.
General information
Appearance
Max looks similar to a standard Dart Monkey, with brown fur, tan skin, and brown eyes, with his signature red headband differentiating him from the rest. His in-game model in Bloons Adventure Time TD has a quiver of darts, which is not reflected in some official artwork (including his in-game icons).
Personality and traits
Max's description in Bloons Adventure Time TD states that he is "laid back" and "wisecracking", but is very determined and serious when it comes to popping Bloons. He is very confident about his dart-throwing skills.
Other forms
Juggernaut Max
Juggernaut Max is an alternate form of Max that appears in Bloons Adventure Time TD. He is based on the Juggernaut upgrade present in the main Bloons TD series since Bloons Tower Defense 3. In this form, Max wears a worn black helmet with silver spikes (resembling the Juggernaut projectile), a red neckerchief, and two dark brown straps across his torso.
Lore
- Despite appearing in Bloons Pop!, his primary place of residence is the Land of Ooo. Due to difficulties in interdimensional travel, he doesn't visit his home universe often.[2]
- He often thinks about becoming part of an Apex Plasma Master one day.[3]
Cultural references
- One of his upgrading voice lines in BATTD is a reference to Ninja Kiwi's tagline, "More Awesomer".
