This Artifact helps affected towers to clean the insides of Bloons they pop, specially useful on Bomb Shooters, Ice Monkeys and Mortar Monkeys as their combination of attack speed, range or targeting mechanics makes them vulnerable to the remains, and thanks to the {{BTD6 dt|1}}-type damage, it also helps them to bypass the immunities of White, Black, and Zebra Bloons. It is recommended to pair this Artifact with attack cooldown buffs so the towers can generate fish more consistently.

Introduced Version 48.0

Fish Nova is a type of Artifact in the Rogue Legends DLC for Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 48.0. It gives Tier 3 or higher Bomb Shooters, Mortar Monkeys, Ice Monkeys, Glue Gunners and Banana Farms a 20% chance of creating a swarm of fishes when their projectiles expire. The fishes will remain for 1 second on the screen moving in an arc, damaging Bloons they collide. Higher rarity versions of the Artifact increase the damage and pierce of the fishes.

The editor who added this notice elaborates: Restructure into a bullet point list per the strategy guidelines
This section was last updated for: version 51.1

This Artifact helps affected towers to clean the insides of Bloons they pop, specially useful on Bomb Shooters, Ice Monkeys and Mortar Monkeys as their combination of attack speed, range or targeting mechanics makes them vulnerable to the remains, and thanks to the Shatter-type damage, it also helps them to bypass the immunities of White, Black, and Zebra Bloons. It is recommended to pair this Artifact with attack cooldown buffs so the towers can generate fish more consistently.

Caution is advised if this Artifact is used with Glue Gunners without Glue Soak crosspath against small Bloons, as the fish can simply break the layer where the Glue was just applied making the glue useless, and also it is not recommended as a damage source for them, as it is outclassed by the upgrades of the top path or by Super Glue.

For Banana Farms, this Artifact is nothing more than a visual gag as even the upgrade that generates the highest amount of projectiles (Banana Plantation with 16 per round), will only generate about 3 fish swarms on average per round, making it irrelevant damage-wise even if the player can make them spawn where the Bloons are located in the first place. This Artifact is one few ways on which Banana Farm can earn pops without Geraldo.

In either case, the Artifact falls in utility as the campaign progresses as the damage from the fish is not relevant against MOAB-Class Bloons until much later where the player has enough attack speed boosts to constantly spawning a high amount of swarms.

  • Nerf Now is correctly applied to tier 3 or higher towers instead of any tier (bug fix)
