Shipwreck is a Special Mission in Bloons Monkey City. In this mission, the player has four Whirlpools that provide an Activated Ability which has a similar effect to the Bloonchipper, sucking in a single Bloon and popping a layer. The price of all towers and upgrades except the Monkey Buccaneer and its upgrades are doubled.

This track is set at a lake with a crashed ship on a pile of rocks. Land towers can be placed directly on the ship's deck, but not the cannons or crow's nest.

The Bloons go from the top and follow the dotted lines around each of the four whirlpools once and then leave at the top of the screen.

The whirlpools each have its own activated ability, which sucks up Bloons, similarly to the Bloonchipper, for a short duration, with a cooldown. Each whirlpool activated sucks in one Bloon and breaks up one layer. It can suck in and pop Lead and Camo Bloons.

Strategy

Both Tier 3 Buccaneers, Destroyer and Cannon Ship are recommended to be researched before attempting this special mission. As Buccaneers do not incur the doubled cost, it is considered the most reliable defense on this mission. Use a single Cannon Ship to pop Camo Lead Bloons, while using multiple Destroyers to deal heavy damage to MOABs. Using base towers to support the defense, like Mortar Monkey to pop normal Lead Bloons en masse and the Spike Factory to clean up leaking Bloons are also helpful, but avoid spending too much cash on upgrading them past tier 1.
