Paragons are a special kind of upgrade introduced in {{BTD6 version|27.0}}. Considered their own upgrade tier, Paragons combine elements of all three of the tower's tier 5 upgrades into one unit, making them extremely powerful. To create a Paragon, the player needs to have all three of the tower's tier 5 upgrades on the map. Upon upgrading one of the tier 5 towers into a Paragon, all towers of the same kind are absorbed into the Paragon, including the other tier 5 towers. The total amount of cash spent, upgrades purchased, damage dealt, and cash produced of the towers absorbed, among other factors, determine the Paragon's Degree, which affects the Paragon's stats. Paragons take a lot of tower XP to unlock and are extremely expensive, so they're typically used in [[Freeplay]] and [[Boss Bloon]]-related modes.
