Mermonkeys. No Mere Monkeys is a Tale Quest in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 44.0.
Patch with the Knowledge
Template:BTD6 quest part info Patch with the Knowledge takes place in Luminous Cove on Medium. There are two preplaced 0-0-0 Mermonkeys. Manually upgrading or selling of the automatically placed Mermonkeys is impossible.
- After round 1, the bottom Mermonkey is upgraded to 0-3-0.
- After round 2, the top Mermonkey is upgraded to 3-0-2, and a third Mermonkey is placed below it.
- After round 3, the third Mermonkey is upgraded to 0-0-3.
- After round 4, the player can place additonal Mermonkeys, limited to tier 3 upgrades.

In this part, there are 8 preplaced towers: 3-0-0 Mermonkey, 0-3-0 Mermonkey, 0-0-3 Mermonkey, 0-3-0 Sniper Monkey, 0-0-0 Heli Pilot, 2-0-0 Monkey Sub, 2-0-0 Monkey Sub, 4-0-0 Monkey Buccaneer. Patch Their tridents look sharp which should make them good against grouped Bloons. Let's see if that theory holds any water! | |

Patch I can feel the chill in the air! Their tridents now have an icy, magical aura. The tridents will freeze Bloons and a magical wave grows as the projectile travels. | |

Patch Woah! That Mermonkey just called a monster up from the depths! Those are some slimy looking tentacles. My PhD in Abyssal Creature Biology is being put to good use! | |

Patch From the 8 tentacles I can tell each one independently targets Bloons in front of them. They'll slam down in a 360 degree ring dealing massive damage. This means the creature's power can be maximized when surrounded by Bloons. | |

Patch That Mermonkey has upgrades from the bottom path too, so it can see Camo Bloons. That's lucky, as a Camo rush is about to come out. | |

Patch Another Tier 3! This time on the bottom path. That Mermonkey will produce a melody when Bloons are nearby, entrancing them into a spiral so other Monkeys can target them. | |

Patch At higher levels the Mermonkey will be able to project the sound through a magic conch, moving the center of the trance if they wish. | |
