El Dorado
All Monkey Money and Team Trophy rewards from game victories are increased by 25% (minimum +1)
El Dorado is a Relic in Bloons TD 6. It provides a 25% additional bonus (rounded down) to Monkey Money and Team Trophy rewards from capturing tiles. If the player recaptures a tile they already hold, it will only grant 1 additional Team Trophy (Monkey Money is unaffected). El Dorado also stacks the amount of Monkey Money earned from capturing with daily tickets. This relic does not stack with itself.
This Relic provides absolutely no benefit for a team besides giving team members slightly more currency to purchase retries and Relics from the Team Store. However, it provides a convenient position for a counter-attack if a team has avoided capturing tiles around this Relic.
Out of all Banner and Relic tiles, prioritize uncaptured ones to limit the recapture penalty.
Capture tiles that you haven't captured before during the event to get the most Monkey Money, prioritizing the Banners and Relics.
Teams that persistently seek captured El Dorado tiles are most likely grinders that desperately want short-term currency generation and do not worry about reaching high positions on the leaderboards.
It is still recommended to maximize Team Points, which can upgrade the total rewards at the end of the event, including Monkey Money and Team Trophies, to an extent. Global Top 10% is usually the cap for most teams and players on Competitive mode.
If short-term Monkey Money generation is an incentive, recapturing isn't worth the effort if the tile is more than about three tiles away, especially when the first four daily tickets per day have arrived. Simply refollowing the route may require missing out too many new tiles such that recapturing would not pay off more despite the El Dorado bonus.
Update history

The editor who added this notice elaborates: Find out any undocumented El Dorado changes that may have occurred in past updates, especially pre-45.0. Look for how it counts whether to involve the daily ticket mm bonus or not. And possibly relative to how the normal ticket reward systems operate?
