Extra Empowered is a Relic in Bloons TD 6. It grants bonus Hero levels in groups of three, allowing the Hero to start at level 3 instead of 1. This effect can stack with 
Empowered Heroes on Regular tiles. However, all instant Hero leveling bonuses are capped at 4, including from stacking both the Map Relic and Store Relic.
- Extra Empowered can assist non-Regular tiles where early-game Hero defense is required.
- It's faster for heroes to use this relic over Hero Boost if they care about a specific early level, such as Rosalia wanting her bouncing grenades as soon as possible at level 5.
- Extra Empowered can allow players to immediately start with a hero ability on Time Attack tiles, such as Rosalia's Scatter Missiles or Gwendolin's cocktail to deal damage to many bloons at the start.

The 'Extra Empowered' relic is now limited to grant a maximum Hero starting level of 4
- Before the nerf, it was possible to get an instant Level 9 Hero with both Extra Empowered relics and Empowered Heroes, because the interaction with stacking Hero levels are internally handled in groups of 3, not additive levels.
