- This bloon should not be played by itself due to its low damage. Instead, it is optimal to play it in a combo, or to distract random attackers like Mortar Monkey and Storm Of Arrows.
- It is recommended to combo this card with Bolstered Bloon or Bloon Embiggen
- Swarm Reds can easily stack up HP on Bolstered Bloon for no cost.
- Swarm Reds can easily allow the player to fill up the board to maximize the effect of Bloon Embiggen
- This card is vulnerable to Triple Shot or board clears such as Spike Storm! and Firestorm.
