Scorched Earth is an Advanced track in Bloons TD 5. It takes place atop a rocky surface with a pair of concentric circles carved into it; the circles have several lines cutting through them down the middle, and they have six pairs of runes along the outer circle, with three of the pairs glowing. The middle of the track itself also emits a heavy glow effect.
Layout
Bloons enter from the top side and right side and exit on the top side and left side. The three paths have rotational symmetry, as they each involve a straightaway followed by a sharp 120° left turn, a sharp 90° right turn, a 180° clockwise loop around the inner circle, another sharp 90° right turn, another sharp 120° left turn, and a second straightaway. Two of the paths exit at the same place another path enters; the track helps indicate the paths' behavior by using a glowing pair of runes to mark the entrance and exit of each of the paths. The parts of the circular formation that are not used for the track block tower placement.
