Bloon Master Populous is an achievement in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 12.0. It is unlocked by dealing 1 billion damage with a Bloon Master Alchemist. It does not require to be done in a single game.
Strategy
Although 1 billion is a very high number that is only attainable by playing a lot of games or by going into Freeplay, Bloon Master Alchemist can can use its shrinking potions to convert MOAB-Class Bloons into Red Bloons as the Alchemist will be granted all the damage that is normally obtained by popping the Bloon normally.
It is recommended to go to Freeplay mode for this achievement as there will be high numbers of MOAB-Class Bloons that the Alchemist can convert, and since the shrinking potion bypasses the ever increasing health of the Bloons, it will be dealing damage faster every round. However to really achieve high numbers is necessary to go far in Freeplay as the cumulative RBE of the pre-determined rounds is just over 23 million at Round 140, and will not reach the billion mark until the early 200's and a lot of those RBE will be on BADs which the Alchemist can't convert, so to do it in a single or in few games, the players should have defenses that can last that deep into Freeplay with Paragons and a VTSG being the most common one.
It is recommended to play on Easy standard on Resort or other long map with plenty of space such as Logs or Cubism and start by a farming to afford the Paragons (Strategy:Boss Bloon Event contains a guide), defenses should be bought as needed with towers that will be sacrificed to Paragons later. Players should aim for as high Degree as possible to survive for longer, and for this it is recommended to use Geraldo Paragon Power Totems and giving towers enough time to accumulate as many damage as possible.
The Bloon Master Alchemist upgrade can be delayed until the player has some Paragons on the map as it will steal pops from the towers that will be sacrificed and the Bloons it converts will generate virtually zero cash. The lost damage during the setup stage is not really important as a single round in the mid or late 200's will have as much RBE as the entirety of Rounds 1-140. Meanwhile the Alchemist can stay at 1-0-4 Rubber to Gold to help with the farming setup. Larger Potions is the recommended crosspath as it can affect more Bloons at the same time and Perishing Potions is pointless as the shrinking potion already defeats any Fortified MOAB-Class Bloons, while also not affecting the work towards the Sapper achievement.
It is also recommended to support the Bloon Master Alchemist with Attack speed upgrades such as Jungle Drums, Ultraboost and Sun Temple with support sacrifices. Ascended Shadow and Navarch of the Seas should the last Paragons to be obtained as both reduce the damage or the amount of targets the Alchemist can convert. Finally place the Alchemist near the start of the track and watch it get millions of pops per round.
