Mechanics
Bot Factory has two large platforms that drop every few rounds starting from round 6, with the rest of the terrain unaffected by these gimmicks. Before dropping during a round, a red buzzer will bleep on the platform side that would fall down. The top platform drops, and next round it rises again, followed by the bottom platform, rising again the next round, and the process repeats.

Monkey Aces and Heli Pilots still operate normally, but cannot be selected once the platform drops
Bonnie's carts can still be sent, but she cannot be upgraded or sell her carts while below the platform

Most high-level and low-level players dislike the map, as this map heavily favors long-ranged towers such as Mortar Monkey and Heli Pilot, and disfavoring Banana Farm. The platform gimmicks ruin many strategies that work on other maps, and the long length of the map favors pure eco strategies. In fact, Monkey Village is not a bad option on this map since reducing the platform dropping rate; it makes solid cash for the mid-game while also offering supreme support.
Strong strategies mostly involve avoiding the platform drop gimmick, where half of the placement space on the map is sent under the map. Towers can avoid this gimmick by being placed in the water accessed by removing either of the two valves, attacking from the sky like Etienne or the Heli Pilot, or by being placed on the two platforms that don't drop at the top and bottom of the map. When the controlling tower of an aircraft (like the ace and runway or drones and Etienne) is under the map, the aircraft cannot be upgraded or targeted, so buy defense before the platform falls if necessary.
The base 0-0-0 Mortar is a top-tier choice on this map due to the many curves and long length of the track. Enough so that one can reliably afford this and Jericho on Round 1 while still steadily building eco. Mortar also has great defensive capabilities in the mid-game.
Normal Jericho increases difficulty of the opponent's early-game with his higher potential steals and early Camos, and towards the late-game his Decoy MOAB disrupts projectile-heavy defenses such as Super Monkey.

Both platforms now stay up until round 5 instead of round 1
Instead of alternating every two rounds, the top platform will drop for two rounds, then both will be up for four rounds, then the bottom platform will drop for two rounds, and so on
Fixed bloons not sending on Bot Factory in some cases.
