The Mortar Monkey is a Monkey in Bloons Pop!. It is unlocked by completing level 16. It has the unique ability of being able to target any onscreen location, launching a mortar shell that creates an explosion on impact.

The Mortar Monkey mainly excels at popping hard-to-reach Powerup Bloons. It is also helpful against clumps of Bloons, due to the large number of Bloons the Mortar Monkey can hit. Mortar Monkey's usefulness in a few very common scenarios lead to it being one of the most useful standard Monkeys in the game.
