Like MOABs, BFBs can pressure the opponent with a high-HP bloon while gaining Bloontonium. However, BFBs are less flexible than MOABs, due to its 1 extra Gold cost. They are stronger, having +100 HP for the same delay, so BFBs are best combined with MOABs or other blimps like Soulstealer Bloon to maximize pressure on the board.
Ignoring additional income, Player 2 can send a BFB on at least Round 3 (Round 2 on High Finance), compared to Round 4 (Round 3 on High Finance) for Player 1.
BFB combined with blimps such as Soulstealer Bloon or Golden Blimp allows a lot more pressure than normally possible with just BFB’s or MOABs. BFB is a good candidate for using Soulstealer Bloon due to its high health making it easy to give the Soulstealer health.
A Marketplace or two Banana Farms can allow you to afford two BFB’s in one turn on 10 eco. This is useful for pressure as both BFB’s will hit on the same turn rather than be slightly delayed.
Prince Of Darkness works well with BFB’s high health, allowing it to get more heals off overall on BFB compared to MOAB.
One MOAB and BFB give exactly enough Bloontonium for Obyn’s Spirit Strike.
