Glue is an attack behavior that causes Bloons to move slower. In Bloons TD 6, Bloons Adventure Time TD, and Bloons TD Battles 2, it is treated as a type of slow, and the damage over time inflicted by corrosive glue is a separate effect. In other games, glue is treated as a distinct effect that can also apply damage over time.
In Bloons TD 6, glue uses a "glue level" system that determines which types of glue override other types of glue. The Glue Gunner cannot target or glue Bloons that are afflicted with glue of the same level or higher, but it can target and glue Bloons that have lower level glue.[fn 1] If a glued Bloon is glued by higher-level glue, the higher-level glue replaces the lower-level glue. Since damage over time is separate from the slowing effect of glue, higher level glue (e.g., MOAB Glue or a Tube of Amaz-o-Glue) overriding Corrosive Glue (or a further upgrade) does not remove or replace its damage over time.

↑2-0-5 Super Glue with Corrosive Glue (level 5) can target Bloons glued by The Bloon Solver (level 6), but its projectiles will not collide with those Bloons. This appears to be unintentional.
